Beauty Tips Using Home Made Yogurt
Believe it or not, home made yogurt can keep you looking beautiful if you just know how to use it. Here are a few of our favorite tips to keep you healthy and looking good using our home made yogurt cultures.
Unblemished & Healthy Skin
With home made yogurt bulgaros you have a natural, inexpensive way to take care of your skin. Home made yogurt masques are better than any store-bought product and they save you at least some of the 9 billion dollars a year people spend on expensive, polluting and abrasive skin products. All you need to get started is some of our all natural bulgaros cultures for turning milk into yogurt. Do it the homemade way!
Just add to a teaspoon of home made yogurt any of the following combinations.
- A drop of honey
- A drop of the juice of a lemon, lime, orange or any citrus fruit
Apply the mixture evenly to your face and leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse with warm water thoroughly and watch your blemishes fade away in no time!
Strong and Shiny Hair
Ten minutes before you wash your hair, massage fresh home made yogurt into your hair until it is damp and cover it with a plastic cap. Wait 5 to 10 minutes, wash it and voila! your hair will be regenerated by the heat and the effects of the good bacteria on your hair. Try it once or twice a month.
Clean and Healthy Digestive Tract
Eat any form of fat-free yogurt once a day and your digestive track will work more efficiently. Cultured milk products such as yogurt can keep you regular and bloat free and they reduce abdominal pain, bloating, gas and constipation/diarrhea. Make a smoothy every day with home made yogurt, which contains more good bacteria then any yogurt you can buy in the stores. Just combine in a blender plain yogurt, honey, fresh mint and your favorite frozen fruit like berries or bananas.
Yummy and good for your body (it makes you feel full and helps you to maintain a balanced diet). Not to mention that it helps the planet by reducing your consumption of package products.
It is a win-win recipe for everybody. Try it!
It has always been tough trying to figure out what to do and where to go when you have toddlers with you. So it was cool to find a website that is trying to make finding these things out much easier - Kango Family Travel. I am going to keep an eye on this one to see if they can deliver on the promise ...
